Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the art and science of writing your web pages so that they are found most efficently by the "search engines" (such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing). If search engines find your web pages, then people will find your web pages.

Have good content, that people want to read.
- If your site is interesting, easy to read, and useful, other people will links to it and talk about — and people will find it.
Have good clean code that search programs can search.
- If your code is clean and your site well-structured, then search engines (and other programs) can figure out what the site is about and index/display/use it accordingly.
