content management systems (cms)

Some popular CMSs are Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress.

A cms is a program that sits on the website, and makes it "easy" for the normal person to add content to the site. However, it is only "easy" because there is some skilled person, taking lots of time and work, on the back-end building of the cms.
