Computers are a big part of the world culture today, enabling all people to talk to each other. If Tibetan is not used in the world of computers, then Tibetan culture cannot be part of that world.

Bod-yig on the web ^

Using Bod-yig on computer is not much different than using other fonts. You need to know the keyboard in order to type the font. You can share your documents with other people if they have the same font.

On the web it is a bigger problem. Anyone with a browser can come to your web page, and if they don't have a Tibetan font your page looks pretty bad.
